InstaGone Consumer Products creates multi-purpose stain removers for both hard surfaces and carpet & upholstery. InstaGone contacted me to re-brand their company, then create the first of many package designs around that new identity. They had signed contracts with several new retail stores (CVS) and finalized air dates for the upcoming year on QVC. The designs needed to be finalized, printed and shipped to meet their upcoming schedule.
CHALLENGE:
The challenge was dealing with InstaGone’s past designs. There were several mismanaged re-branding attempts that clashed, and potentially confused customers when searching for this company or product. The new brand needed to visually stand out while reserving space for the mandatory warnings and disclaimers.

GOALS:
Create a new logo that echoes its past identity but delivers a fresh, clean and strong visual.
Design a completely new package for its main product.
Implement the new branding across all mediums.
SOLUTIONS:
1) For the logo, I maintained the core colors and delivered a powerful combination of letter-mark and an abstract-mark. It works well with the product and stands out on a shelf. This was achieved after performing extensive market research within the cleaning product sector.
2) ‘Before and After’ shots were the quickest way to showcase how powerful this product is, and how many surfaces it can be used on. Along with the design, I also dealt with several manufactures to find the appropriate plastic clamshell, bottle, label, and printer for our specific needs. Lastly, a cloud-based storage system was implemented to avoid duplicate art files and to maintain consistency for InstaGone moving forward.
